Working In New York City!

So I just got back from a shoot at NBC "30 Rock" in New York City. It started out pretty stressful taking a taxi cab from JFK to the Milleneum Resort. Man, I don't know how people can handle those crazy cab drivers. FYI, it cost the same amount of money to take a Town Car from JFK into Manhattan as it does to take a taxi. I learned that the hard way.
Our shoot day went smoothly and I was a happy camper because my make-up and hair boys, Gil and Gary, were awesome. It's always a plus when hair and make-up works their magic and you don't feel like a freak before you go on "the air." I also had the privilege of working with my friend, Craig Burnett. No body makes me laugh harder in between takes.

Another highlight of the day was meeting Chris Hansen from Dateline News. He was shooting in the room next to us and came over to say hello as we were finishing up. Super nice guy.
I also had the pleasure of meeting to fine NYPD Cops, Officer Paul and Officer Don. They saved the day when I got lost looking for my hotel after walking Time Square, and the funny part was that I was only a half block away. They had some great stories, and some great connections....Thanks Officer Paul for the introduction to "Carmine's" famous Italian Restaurant and for the "Free" tickets to see "Phantom of the Opera." Craig and I could not believe the seats. Wow!

Topped off the trip with a day of shopping and laughing with my 3rd cousin, Jody Madaras, and his amazing girlfriend, Natalie. Check out the video of them dancing after a couple of Mojitos!

Can't wait to see where my next work trip takes me......

Hotels.Com Shoot in Kansas City

I love my job. This week I traveled to Kansas City to shoot an Infomercial for Hotels.com. I had never been to Kansas City, MO before, and it was nothing like I expected. We stayed at the Sheraton right in the heart of "The Plaza District", which had the best shopping and restaurants around. Everything was in walking distance and the mood was fun since we happened to arrive on St. Patrick's Day. No green beer for me, but there were plenty of people who over indulged to say the least. It is always fun to be sober and watch drunk people make fools out of themselves don't ya think?

Producers Direct, was in charge of this project and everyone involved was a "class act." (Yes, even you Steve Zeoli!) Our Producer, Steve Zeoli, kept a positive attitude throughout the entire 11 hour day, and was a gem to work with. I also worked with some amazing talent...Rich Hollenberg and Craig Burnett. Check out their work at http://www.richhollenberg.com/ and http://www.craigburnett.com/

I am looking forward to going back to Kansas, and also to working with this great bunch of people again. What a blast!

My Infomercial with Dr. "Rey" 90210

This one will be short and sweet, as I just want to put some photos up of my latest Infomercial shoot with Dr. "Rey" 90210. The product we were talking about is called "Sensual Solutions", and you are going to love it, especially if you are over the age of 35 and are starting to see the fine lines and wrinkles. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I had taking them. The entire cast and crew were fabulous, and Dr. "Rey" and his wife Haley were so down to earth. Man, I love my job!

Part 2: Just Another Day At The Office

Okay, I don't want to keep rubbing this in, but Friday's "Day at the office" was pretty fun. My company, What To Do TV, had to shoot a segment for one of our sponsors, AZ Hummer Tours. Our day consisted of a little bit of work and a whole lot of fun out on the back roads near the Agua Fria River. The view were spectacular, and the ride in their new Ranger was AWESOME! If you are planning a trip to Arizona, then you have to get a hold of Mike at www.azhummertours.com What a blast!
